Hotel Babylon

This weekend I have been making my way through series one of Hotel Babylon. A late night BBC drama about what really goes on behind the scenes of a five star hotel.

If you’re familiar with the programme Mile High which screened here about five years ago, this programme has similar themes and a similar style. It has the usual characters you’d expect to see as well. The cheeky receptionist who’s always flirting with the wealthy guests (played by Emma Pierson), the Mr Fix it concierge, the domineering manager, the posh snob chef, the Italian bartender, homosexual receptionist, the immaculate head of housekeeping and the star, Deputy Manager Charlie, played by Max Beesly.

I’m looking foward to finishing off series one and getting into two and three. Can’t wait. Seriously juicy stuff!!
